Directly next to the Rhine river, near Sankt Goarshausen, you will find the 132 metres tall schistose rock of the Loreley. According to the myth the beautiful Loreley sits onto it. With her sweet singing she distracted the boatsmen in this strait, sinking their ships, drowning these poor souls. |

Directly on top of this rock our con location is located, the Turner- und Jugendheim Loreley e.V. From there the view of the rhinevalley is breathtaking. Appreciated by tourists and wanderes the neighbourhood offers a lot of interesting places. At the rhine river you will find the town Sankt Goarshausen and - available by ferry - Sankt Goar at the other side. This area is well known for it's old castles, the convents, old villages and houses and of course for the wine. |
The youthhostel offers lots of space, a large outdoor area, an annex with a sportshall, event rooms, four huts and two barbecue places. This year we have room for up to 100 furs. The sleeping rooms comply with the typical hostel standards holding 2 up to 10 beds per room. You don't need to bring your own bedsheets, the hostel provides them for us. |

We can use two dining rooms, the larger one can hold 65 people. In the annex we are allowed to use 3 rooms and the sportshall. The cinema, the Artshow, Dealers Den and the SIG-room will be placed there. When the weather is fine we can hold a barbecue. Furthermore we have enough space for outdoor activities: Soccer, tabletennis - you name it. Maybe we are able to organize again a fursuitwalk to St. Goar, which was a lot of fun last year. |

As usual there are rules which we have to follow.
Smoking inside the rooms and buildings is forbidden.
Dogs are welcome, but need to be leashed constantly and should be socially functionable. Unfortunately, there are not more than three dogs allowed. We will decide at a "first come, first serve" base.
The carekeeper reserves the right to ban dog and owner from the ground if rules are broken.
Past 22:00 o'clock there should be no doomsday-simulations, so please keep the noise level low and don't disturb others. The carekeeper and his family also want to have some sleep.
On the (short) and fixed mealtimes the keepers are adamant.
Parking in front of the main building is only for loading purpose. Next to the hostel there is a parking space which we can use. We have a special card for the gate which will be kept by a staff member (simply ask). By using this card you don't need to pay the parking fee. Please stay on the roads and don't drive through the meadows. Thank you!
